But a bad one for the west.
Hera me out. The world is technically a technological colony of the west. These “fencings” from the west will force China to bring fourth new direction for how we build technologies. Do we need silicon and Lithography machines to build processors? Is there a more efficient of doing this? Most likely. This is why this is good for China and the rest of the world.

Already we have a new operating system emerging for mobiles and IOT. That’s Harmony OS. It was initially compatible with Android but as of a few days ago, it no longer is. Total independence.

Do we need heavy hardware for satellite calls? Yes, we did (not do), With Huawei Mate 60 you can do that. A new paradigm came through the brilliant minds of engineers and voilĂ . Who needs western tech? Or maybe we should ask, Who wants China tech?

Does anyone see the pattern? These were just a few examples.
With this fencing, the Chinese have the opportunity to rethink most of the old ways of doing things. And they no longer need to pay for the patents, seek compatibility with legacy systems or keep the same inefficient processes.

Mate 60 with its 7nm tech, is as fast or faster than the 3 nm samsung or Iphones. How? Simply because a bunch of new paradigms.

I support fencing China.
